Windows 10: Different licence on another laptop and another different licence on pc

Hi, so whenever im trying to install windows 10 or 11 on another of my laptop Asus X409MA using this account that has pro version for both that im using right now. After i install windows on my laptop, i'll just head to the windows settings to change some things and when i went to the activation page it says i have windows 10/11 home even though i sign in this account that has pro in it.

Because you have a full retail licence then you can transfer that licence to a new PC

Before you sell that laptop, here are the steps to remove your Windows 10 licence form that laptop

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this into Command Prompt and press Enter

slmgr.vbs /upk

When that command completes, close Command Prompt

That's It, that will remove your Windows 10 licence form that laptop . .

 

How to merge/connect two different window licence?

Err you can't have TWO Windows licences on the same machine unless you install one licence on a separate HDD or partition.

What would be the point of that unless they were different versions which in this case they aren't.

Secondly the Windows Licence is NOTHING to do with user accounts....

need an answer on something please.

i bought an official win10 activation licence from Microsoft a few weeks an it is linked to a laptop on which win10 is installed.

I also have an MS account which shows that a purchased the activation.

if i want to sell the laptop on which the activated version is running, can i de-register win10 from that laptop, and then apply the acitvation to a different laptop.

I see that in my MS account there is an option to 'remove laptop' but don't know whether that we de-link the activation?
