Windows 10: Different native Windows apps are not working

Hello.I got a new laptop with Windows 11. After a BIOS update, on the 19th of February 2023, I noticed several native Windows apps are not working:- First, I noticed that the Search button changes color when pressed, but the window does not display. Then, I noticed that if I type something and press enter, even without seeing the Search window, the search does work. However, I require the window to display. One thing to note is that immediately after I boot up the system, the Search window does appear, but it only happens for the first few seconds after booting up. This also happens with the N

• When you "washed out which was opened in Windows Picture Viewer" what exactly are you referring to?
• Are you facing any issues in opening photos using Windows Picture Viewer?
• Is this issue specific to any picture?
• Have you installed any third party anti-virus on your system?

Thank you for your reply, appreciate the time taken by you in keeping us updated on the status of the issue.

I suggest you to try updating the Display Adapter drivers and check if this helps.

Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
  
• Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
• Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
• Restart the computer after its updated and verify.
