  1. Different types of reoccurring BSOD

    Hi!I've been having different types of BSODs reoccur as of late. Honestly it all started more than a year ago, and after taking my PC into warranty and fiddling with it on my own a bit rolling back graphics drivers etc I thought I had fixed the issue, or at least got it to a point where it wasn't causing any issues on a near daily basis. As of the past few months though, the BSODs have gotten more frequent. They are somewhat irregular in the sense that I am unable to replicate them. I can try doing the same things that were done when I got the BSOD only for my PC to be completely fine. It fe

    Reoccurring BSODs with different errors.

    I have built a PC in the past and had just gotten round to building a new PC with much better specs about 3 weeks ago. My new PC runs exactly how normal PC should. However, I have faced a number of BSODs from time to time, in a week I face about 3 BSODs
    with each a different error. I have never had a BSOD issue with my old PC and now worry that the components I have chosen may have made my current new PC unstable, however, I've seen many PCs online that have the exact same components. Every time I get a BSOD,
    I spend the time looking at tutorials on how to "fix" these BSODs, but always see myself running into the issue again, I have made sure to keep all my drivers updated, done many memory diagnostic scans resulting in no errors detected and have booted windows
    in safe mode many times. It's been very frustrating and I'm hoping that turning here will perhaps result in a permanent fix. I can provide as much detail necessary but don't exactly know what to add into this first message/question regarding the information
    you may need.

    How can I fix these reoccurring BSODs?

    Thank you for your help in advance.

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Different types of reoccurring BSOD :)

    Reoccurring BSOD's relating to bugcheck 0x1a

    First time posting, so sorry in advance if I missed a thread policy. This started when I upgraded my rig from a i5 6400 to a Ryzen 5 3600. This also included a new Mobo to suport said cpu. Apart from the torturous 12 hours of errors setting up the system. Once I had it all setup I kept getting these BSOD's after some usage time. After using bugcheck and checking forums, most evidence pointed to the newest nvidia drivers and my crucial mx300 m-sata ssd both causing driver errors. I replaced the SSD, and reverted to the default nvidia driver, and the symptoms stopped showing for a while. This was until Memory_management BSOD's started showing up after I close any game. I read online that Nvidia knew about the errors with their current drivers and were rolling out a patch in the recent update, so i manually installed that driver. This still hasn't fixed the problem. Currently, my computer will work fine until I am either playing or closing a game, which it will then BSOD with different errors each time, but the most common two are System-Service-Exception and Memory_Management. Here is a screenshot of my event viewer:

    Troubleshooting Steps I've Done:
    • Updated CPU and chipset drivers, both from Mobo website and AMD website
    • Updated BIOS to the latest version listed on MSI website
    • ran 2 memory tests (one was memtest, the other was a stability test in windows, forgot the name) both finished clean
    • installed, removed, and reinstalled nvidia drivers
    • reinstalled windows 10
    • rubber ducky debugging

    I've looked at multiple forum posts online, but none seem to have my exact symptoms so maybe I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for any help! (log files attached)
