Windows 10: Different User Notifications on my Profile

Since moving in with my partner and putting her account on my PC, I have had the inconvenience of her FB messenger notifications playing sound when she is signed in but I am working on my profile. I can't seem to find any settings to disable this, and it is a pain to have her switch over and log out, and sometimes it isn't possible as she has sites and documents up for her schoolwork. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Using controllers on different windows user profiles

I worked through each step and none seemed to make a difference: with the new profile the problem was the same, and the DS4 windows specific suggestions also didn't seem to make a difference.

It's worth pointing out that my controller is connected via a standard cable, not via bluetooth. The cable and connection port seem to be all in order as they work fine on the default user profile.

In addition, I should also point out that while the programs don't detect any connected controllers, settings and device manager both display the correct controller as being connected. As it works on the other profile, all drivers are updated and fine too. Thanks for the suggestions again, I hope we can find a fix to this
