Windows 10: Difficulty with Color Themes

After deciding to make my own custom color theme I know where the options are to create one, that isn't what this post is about I noticed that several of my apps have their icons turned black and white Mail, Settings, etc. and I don't know how to change them back to the default colored version. Also, several random things have changed on Chrome my browser of choice. Lots of random buttons, text, and the like have things like boxes around them, the formatting on several sites I frequently use is all messed up, and I don't know if there's a way to make my selection for a color theme less i

Personalize colors and themes on Windows 10

Hi,

To assist you with your concern on the pictures being dark on Windows 10, you can try to play around with the colors and themes that will suit you.

Here are the steps to customize your color and theme:

• Click on Windows logo.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Select Colors.
• Make sure that the Automatically pick an accent color from my background is turned off.
• Select the color that you like from the grid of colors.

In Creators Update, you can now customize Windows Themes using the Settings app and get new ones from the Windows Store. Additionally, it also includes an option to set a custom accent color, instead of having to choose from a limited list of predefined
colors. To further rectify your concern, follow these steps to get into your Themes settings:

• Press Windows key + I.
• Click Personalization.
• You will find Themes located at the left side of Personalization options.

Win-10 themes keep changing

Thank you for providing the information.

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.
