Windows 10: Difficulty with computer automatically returning to previous page and mouse issues.

On my windows 11, I am having two issues. My laptop keeps automatically clicking back. So if I search something on Firefox it automatically returns to the default page. If I switch channels on discord it automatically switches back to the channel I was on when I first opened discord. The other issue is that my mouse will not allow me to click on things especially things on the hotbar but occasionally it will not allow me to close open apps.This happens with any mouse and keyboard. The issue has been happening for almost a week now, but the issue has just been getting steadily worse.

Does your keyboard work? If yes you could try these keys to finish the setup. Once you're done with that setup the mouse should get detected.

Move to the next field on a page -> Tab

Return to the previous field on a page -> Shift+Tab

Close the installation wizard-> Alt+F4

Move to the next configuration step -> Alt+N

Return to the previous configuration step -> Alt+B

Move to the next selection in a list -> Down arrow

Move to the previous selection in a list -> Up arrow

I understand that you’re facing issues with cursor I will make sure to help you with this issue.

First I suggest you to check the mouse settings and see if it helps.

• Go to settings and click on Ease of Access
• Then select mouse.
• And make sure the option numeric keypad to move mouse around the screen is ON
  
• And make sure the option use mouse key when num lock is on is ON
  

If the issue still persist the try the below Methods and check for the issue:

Method 1:

First, I would suggest you to follow these steps and run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter:

a. Press Windows key + W to search Settings.

b. Type “Troubleshoot” without quotes and click on Troubleshooting in the
results displayed on the left side of the screen.

c. In the new window, click Hardware and Sound.

d. In the list of options, click on Hardware and Devices.

e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to restart the computer in clean boot mode and check if it helps:
