Windows 10: Digital license for this device has already been used to reactivate Windows

I purchased my Win 8 Pro RETAIL license back in 2015 and installed a fresh copy on VirtualBox.Later I upgraded my Win 8 Pro installation to Windows 10 Prver the years I used Windows 10 Pro on VirtualBox this way.Recently I bought a new laptop with no operating system installed. I planned to install Windows 10 Pro on it. But before that I tried out a fresh Win 11 Pro installation on VirtualBox to see if it would activate. Seeing that it did, I installed Win 11 Pro instead of Win 10 Pro on my new laptop, but now it won't activate.The error says: "We can't activate your copy of Windows a

Digital license won't reactivate on new hardware (motherboard, cpu ram)

Hello,

I have a digital license of Windows 10 that is linked to my Windows account. I've just replaced my motherboard, cpu and ram and whenever I attempt to reactivate my license the activation troubleshoot says "Unable to activate Windows, We can't reactivate Windows
on this device, Try again later.

Prior to changing my hardware I double checked my digital license, The activation said "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account"

If I run 'winver' It also lists the produced is licensed to my Microsoft account.

According to this article below, All I should have to do is goto the activation troubleshooter and everything should work.

The Digital License For This Device Has Already Been Used To Reactivate Windows.

Hi, I change my HDD, but have problem with reactivation WIN11. When I choose old system from list (This is the device that I´m using at the moment) and click Activate, it show me that "The Digital License For This Device Has Already Been Used To Reactivate Windows".

I have retail version upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and then to Win11 (found with command slmgr /dlv in CMD). I don´t have original key to Win7.

I have installed same version of Win11 and tried everything. In my Microsoft acount is now both systems. Old licence is join to my acount (because I can choose old system in reactivating window).

There is no chat, no phone number, nothing how to solve this. Help site is only neverending loop with basic theme, but nothing important.

Is there limit to reactivate windows?
