Re-associate licenses to new email account

I have some paid licenses which were associated to an old microsoft email account.

Some licenses are activated while some are not (just used this old email account to buy but not yet activated).



Now I would like to re-associated all them to my another microsoft email.

Is it possible to do so?
And how are the steps to do?

That is a very good question indeed. Though I haven't reproduced it, but I think associating Windows license to your MS account should be enough to reacitvate after a hardware change.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I was able to pull my product key from my old hard drive but it was set to a generic/default product code that I couldn’t use to activate my new windows install.

Unless you can’t think of anything else, it seems like my digital license is lost to the ether and it’s time for me to purchase a new one.

A final question for you, if I purchase a new windows pro install via the Microsoft store will that be a digital license associated with my account or a product key?
