Windows 10: Digital Windows 10/11 Pro license bought from Microsoft Store will not activate after...

I replaced my MB, CPU and RAM on my system. I reinstalled Windows but the activation does not work. I have tried all the steps but it does not seem that Microsoft recognizes that I have a digital license from their store. I have tried Windows 11 Pro and when that did not work, I reinstalled a fresh Windows 10 install and it also does not work.I am signed into Windows with the account that purchased the Windows 10/11 Pro license.I have been trying to find a way to contact Microsoft to get this resolved but I just keep getting redirected to the support articles that have not helped.Anyone know h

Did you read Microsoft documentation? Activate Windows - Microsoft Support says:

• A digital license (called a digital entitlement in Windows 10, Version 1511) is a method of activation in Windows 10 that doesn't require you to enter a product key.

digital license is attached to your Microsoft Account; used to make the purchase. If you decide to transfer the Windows 10 Pro Pack to another computer, you can do so using the

Activation Troubleshooter.



Transfer Windows 10 Pro Pack Key to a new Computer

• Open Settings > Update & security > Activation > Troubleshooter.
• Sign in with your Microsoft Account used to purchase the Pro Pack license.
• After troubleshooting is completed, Windows 10 will indicate a digital license for Windows 10 Pro has been found.
• Click Activate Windows then follow the on-screen wizard.

Cant Reactivate Windows 11 Pro Digital License After Unlinking Device from Microsoft Account

Hello,

I currently run Windows 11 Pro on a digital license. Initially I bought an Acer PC with Windows 7 Pro (CD Key on sticker) in 2010. OS was upgraded for free to Windows 8 Pro and then Windows 10 Pro and finally to Windows 11 Pro.

Recently, my motherboard died and I replaced the mobo and CPU. When I booted Windows, it asked me if I'm using a device listed below, and the only one listed was the same computer but with a different motherboard. I clicked no and Windows could not activate. I unlinked the device in case the Windows Activation server was seeing a duplicate of the OS, still to no avail.

Now, I can't activate Windows as I don't have a CD Key and I can't find how to reinstate my digital license.
