Windows 10: Dim background windows brightness to focus on the one being used

I turned this feature on to see how it looks but now I can't find the setting to turn it back off. When using a second monitor, the whole second monitor darkens when I select a window on the primary monitor.

Samsung Focus - Auto dimming on white background screens

Has anyone else noticed that the screen on the Focus will dim itself when the majority of pixels on screen are white, regardless if you have auto-brightness off? For example, opening the email client or internet explorer will instantly dim
the screen. If you set the color scheme to light/white, the home screen does not dim, but swipe over to the application list, and it dims.

This feature is not present on the other WP7 phones, so I can only assume that Samsung added it to the OS themselves, probably as a sneaky way to artificially improve battery life (since Microsoft has strict mandates on using only three brightness
settings).

Is there anything Microsoft can do to remove this feature? Maybe like providing a vanilla WP7 installation? I've contacted Samsung but I couldn't even get them to understand the problem.

I have the same question as this but I do not use an HP computer mine is an Asus. "Ok so here's the thing, there is this windows 10 feature that allows you to "focus" on one window at a time, and dims the background windows. An example would be, I have 3 windows open and none of them are full screen. I click on one window, and the rest of the background windows dim in order to bring optimal focus to the currently active window - kind of like a video, movie theatre, focus setting. The problem is, I turned on this feature, and now cannot find how to turn it off, nor know the name of it. I'm sure I'm overlooking where I need to go but yet here we are. If anyone could assist me with turning this feature off, I would gladly appreciate it!!!

 

Dimmed brightness

I have a problem with the dimmed brightness. my monitor always dimmed when I view something that have a low brightness. I change the dimmed brightness setting, turn off the adaptive brightness but my monitor still dim. I'm not sure its a driver issue as
there is no update for my display driver. I am using hp pavilion g4 with intel hd graphic
