Hi thank you for your time,

I just bought this new MSI GS65 STEALTH laptop running windows 10 and I was really excited to play games on it until I got the point where I needed to install Direct X for my games. Every time I would need to, it would come up with the message; "An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and Directx.log in your windows folder to determine problems." I have tried everything that the internet has offered to me and none of it has worked, I edited the data numbers in registry data to the correct numbers, I have restarted my computer, I try to install directx from browser rather from my games. I can't think pf anything else. Please help

I have recently gotten myself a new gaming laptop and instilling games however

upon starting call of duty world at war it did first time setup it was instilling Direct X then a error box came up saying

Direct X Setup

An Internal System Error Occurred

Please refer to DXerror.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem

After pressing it will come as Installation Failed

It's a HP Omen Laptop

GTX 1060 6GB

8 Ram

Intel Core i7 8750h

1TB HHD

128 SSD

Direct X Install Error 0xc000012F

Hello,

I am having some difficulty installing Direct X on my computer. I've updated my display/graphic drivers with no luck. The reason I am attempting to reinstall install Direct X is because I continue to get an error saying d3dx9_33.dll in my System32 folder
contains an error (error status 0xc000012F). I'm running a 64 bit machine. The directx install will not complete.

Please see the DXError log below, any help would be appreciated.
