Windows 10: Directx 11

Hello, I have about 25 or so games on my windows 10 PC and most are from steam. All of them work fine except for Farming Simulator 19 which I pre-ordered. The game worked fine for a week then I had and update for NVIDIA. I have a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 graphics card. After the update I restarted my PC and I couldn't even open up my farming simulator. The game would go to a black screen then crash to desktop. No errors or anything else has popped up. My graphics drivers are up to date and windows is up to date. I have changed the renderer in the game.xml file from D3D_11 to D3D_12 and it worked just I only had about 10 frames a second. Then I figured out that if you change the renderer from D3D_11 it automatically changes it to Opengl. All other games work fine with D3D_11. I don't know what the problem is. I could really use some help. Thanks in advance.

I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

Hello.

I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.

One of the possible reasons why you can't use Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 is due to hardware conflicts or software incompatibility with Windows 10. To help you with your concern, we suggest you re-install the latest version of DirectX. The steps are found

article or you may also try the troubleshooting steps suggested by Jesrael Bor from the earlier post. Some of the community members found his answer helpful.

DirectX 12 should already have runtime libraries for DirectX 11, so there is no need to download and install it.
