Windows 10: DirectX 12,11 and 10 games are crashing?

Hello,I Have recently reset my laptop. It can run any DirectX 9 games and Vulkan games normally, but whenever I try to run games that use DirectX 12, 11 or 10, it says that i need DX12.For example, when I try to run CS:GO, It runs normally, but when I try to run Valorant on my laptop, it gives me the error saying:"DX11 feature Level 10.0 is required to run the Engine.", However my laptop already has DirectX 12 Installed.Before I reset my laptop, I was able to run DX12 games normally.My specs:Windows 10 Pro 64-BitCPU: Intel Core i7-2670QMGPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000RAM: 8 GBI have tried updating

I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

Hello.

I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.

In order to help you effectively, kindly provide us additional information.

• What is the exact error message you're getting? Could you provide us the screenshot?
• How did you install the DirectX 12? Was it manually, or through Windows Update?

If you install DirectX 12 through Windows Update, then we would suggest that you perform a System Restore to take your computer back to an earlier point in time. It will not affect your personal files, but will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed
after the restore point was made.

After the restore, you may then install DirectX 11 through Windows Update. As there is no stand-alone update package for it.

I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

I'm in the same boat, here's what the situation (at least for me) is.

So I have this computer that originally had windows 7. I think it had directx 9 / 10 on it when I got it.

Windows 10 released, and I pumped right up and got Windows 10. Now Along with windows 10 at some time it also got directx 12

Right now I want to get Assassin's Creed, which requires Directx 11. When I check my DirectX version it says "DirectX 12".

But it wont let me play because it thinks that I have the outdated DirectX version.

I can't even download and install the DirectX 11 manually, as it says that there are no downloadable drivers for DirectX 11.

So why can't DirectX 12 handle DirectX 11 games?
