    DirectX Version: 11.1

    My ASUS k-55a has ver. 11.2

    to have ver 12 you need to have at least 1gb of dedicated hd graphic

    • The DirectX 12 test requires a PC running an up-to-date version of Windows 10 Technical Preview (build 10041 or later), 4 GB of system memory, and DirectX feature level 11_0 compatible hardware with at least at least
      1 GB of graphics memory.
    • The Mantle test requires 4 GB of system memory and AMD hardware that supports the Mantle API.
    • The DirectX 11 test requires DirectX feature level 11_0 compatible hardware with at least 1 GB of graphics memory and 4 GB of system memory.

    I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

    Hello.

    I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.

    DirectX 12 Ultimate Features, Tools and Minimum requirements

    Cant't download apps (instagram,messenger,etc.) from MS Store because they minimum require directx 9 but i have Directx 12 installed!! what to do?

    NOTE-: I am using windows 10 pro and when I run dxdiag.exe it shows my DirectX version 12.

    I also tried to clear the cache of Microsoft store but again I was unable to download some apps like Instagram, messenger, etc.. because they need DirectX 9 as minimum requirement/

    but I have DirectX 12 installed then what's the problem??
