Windows 10: DirectX downloads removed from various Microsoft download pages

Hi!


All of the DirectX links, redistributables, SDKs, on the various Microsoft pages have been removed, should we expect them to return?


I refer to the links here:

It looks like whichever repository which is hosting all these files has fallen over, yesterday evening of the 27th Jan 2020, I've seen forum posts about it on tech support hubs on reddit, but there seems to be no official word on Microsoft about it?


Was this an expected event? I'm hoping someone can shine light on this!

Microsoft Windows 7 RC Available for Download

The wait is over, Microsoft has published the official download page for Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC), that's not some pirated torrent link. Offered now directly from Microsoft are five different language versions (English, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish) of both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 RC. Minimum system specs to run Windows 7 include:

• 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) / 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available disk space (32-bit) / 20 GB (64-bit)
• DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Don't waste more time, and go directly to the Windows 7 RC download page.

OK, so I just tried to download the latest DirectX distro, and I get a "Page cannot be displayed" when I try to download. It won't get the validation tool either. So I can't download anything from Microsoft. However, when I go downstairs to try, works fine. It's not my computer not downloading anything, every other site works fine. I'm using IE7.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

When you want to download anything from microsoft

You eaither have to know the number name. Say patch to fix monitor from blabablaa(315151351)

You just search for that number

Go to Microsoft search(works better than google for this)

Vista sp3 developers

That will let you download the stand alone install.
