Windows 10: DirectX End User Runtime Installation Error

Hi,


Whenever am trying to install the directx end user sdk via the web installer I keep getting the error "An internal system error occurred please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder."


I tried changing the registry values as indicated in the forums as well as try to install as an admin with disabling the antivirus software, the problem still persists. Could you please advise.


Started getting this problem recently after I restored windows 10.

DirectX installation failed

• DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
  
• DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer

DirectX End-User Runtime meltdown

Dear Microsoft!

I want ask for help with DirectX isuue.

I have Win10-64bit operating system and i want to run old games on it, however anyone which uses direcx 9 version have problems while running.

I have downloaded the official End-User runtime

Download DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Official Microsoft Download Center

installed it - the installation was successful, but with the applications nothing has changed!

I needd assistance what else methods are to fullify Dxend-user runtime.

DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) on Windows 10

We all know that DirectX End-User Runtime from June 2010 is old. I think still there are some games who are widely depended on DLLs from that DirectX release.

Windows has evolved a lot since that time and Microsoft has improved many things including DirectX itself. Unfortunately there are some games who installs that old DirectX without taking any permission from the users while installing the main game engine
on Windows 10 platform.

Now my concern is, though the required DLLs are coming from the installation of DirectX June '10, will this replace the latest and improved files during the installation process? Will there be any other problem with this installation process?

If the installer replaces the original Windows files with it's old version, what is the way to revert back?
