Windows 10: DirectX errors on Win 10 via FFXIV

hello i have an issue with these errors and i'm at my end on solving them. Can you please help me with this cause i have no clue anymore on what i need to doI tried asking support of the game but they don't really help me that much plus i can't install the game on my c drive because it still says not enough space and while i moved literally most of my stuff so please help me also i can't seem to add a screenshot as it says that it failed to upload

DirectX fatal Error and FFXIV

Everytime I look for information concerning DirectX Fatal Errors FFXIV seems to be the only program listed as having problems. Why is this? Have you or do you plan to communicate with Square-Enix concerning this problem. Do you even care? I still have
occasional problems with this even after buying a new PC with quality parts. I run the game with only those programs that I need to operate my PC i.e. anti virus, sound ect. I have all the latest Windows updates and I keep my drivers up to date

 

DirectX errors on Win 10 via FFXIV

Hi,

I've been experiencing directx issues/errors whenever I launch FFXIV game on my win10 Home PC.

The game and many others used to be able to run well and have no such issues

but I realize after the resetting my PC with reinstall of Win 10 via latest version of the installation media,

most games no longer run or start.

Below I've included the error msg prompts received.

"DX9 bad image-

.....is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Error status 0xc000012f."



These three have the same message prompts each: (all under system32 folder)

D3DX9_43.dll

X3DAudio1_7.dll

XAPOFX1_5.dll

I've tried to repair corrupt files or reinstalling DirectX with the runtime web installer

but it detected a new or current version so nothing was done.

Ran dxdiag and came back with directx12 version. That means I should be able to run dx11 or even 9 right?

So far, I've checked win update and no further drivers for graphic card or directX repair are available.

I'm using Nvidia Geforce GT440 with the latest driver. As I mentioned earlier, most games or all, ran with no issues.

So I don't know what the issue is.

As for running the game in DX11. There was 'a fatal error 1100002'.

Which is the reason I ran DX9 instead. (which used to work)

I get 'video internal scheduler' error at times too.

Please advise as I'm stuck here and can't seem to do anything. Thank you!
