Windows 10: DirectX games won't load

hello, microsoft community.

i have tried playing multiple games (team fortress 2, super meat boy, the end is nigh) and they have all failed to launch.


this started occuring after a fresh install of windows i got when i was having issues with my wifi connection.


i have ran dxdiag and i have gave you all my important specs -


os - windows 10 home 64 bit

system manufacturer - dell

system model - inspiron 7570

bios - 1.12.0

processor - intel i7-8550u cpu @ 1.80ghz (8 cpus), ~ 2.0ghz

memory - 8gb of ram

directx version - directx 12


my gpu is a nvidia geforce mx130 (for gaming), and i have an intel uhd 620.

like i said before, i used to be able to run all these games but after a reinstall of windows they all failed to launch and crashed.

Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!

Directx not working with games

There is a possibility that the components of DirectX within the game you're trying to play is damaged. For us to provide an accurate solution, we would need you to answer the following questions:

• Which build, version and edition of Windows is installed on your computer?
• Are you experiencing the same issue when you are trying to play all of the installed games on your computer, or is the issue isolated with specific games?
• Are you experiencing the same issue even when you are using other user profiles?

In the meantime, we suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the games that are experiencing an issue with DirectX. Doing so can repair its components. Let us know if the same issue persists.
