Windows 10: DirectX install internal server error

Hi,


So I am trying to run games on steam but those with DirectX aren't able to.

It seems to skip the install DirectX step.


I am unable to disable anti-virus on my computer - and I have tried the various other fixes such as changing the binary value in the registry editor.

I have ran DXsetup multiple times. I have tried repairing .NET. I have tried repairing the vcredist_86x.

internal error occured while installing directX

I tried to install a game called warframe. The data was downloaded properly and needed directX to be installed which it did automatically. The setup unfortunately failed as directX couldn't be installed and the game is now unplayable as long as i don't install
directX. I tried installing DirectX through web installers and through offline installer but both gave the errors as follows:

An internal system error occurred.

Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem.

I've tried different versions of directx but all give the same error.

What can i do now?

  (To check the build, Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command, type Winver
  and press Enter)

I suggest you to install all the updates on your computer.

Follow the steps below:

• 
  Click on search
  bar, type Windows Update.
  
• 
  Select Check for Update.
  
• 
  Download and
  Install the latest Windows Updates.
