    DirectX setup - An internal system error occurred. How to fix?


    Hi, this was asked before here but none of suggested solutions helped me. I installed Windows 11 on my PC recently, completely fresh install - all of my Hard drives was formatted. I updated my Windows to the latest version, have updated all drives I could find. Only with directx I have this annoying error. I cant run half of my games, because either the launcher will try to update the directx and will stuck on this stage forever or the game will end up with some .dll fire missing error. dxwebsetup.exe installed something normally one time, after that one time it's also ending up with this er

    DirectX Setup: An internal error occurred.

    New computer, trying to install + play some games, when they always refuse to boot due to directX not being set up.

    one of the errors states "The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found". However, attempting to install directX gives the error " An internal error occurred."

    Information:

    dxdiag gives my version as 12.0

    All windows updates installed

    All graphic drivers for both my Radeon Vega GL and my Intel HD Graphics are updated

    Things I have tried:

    Reinstalling the game

    Verifying game integrity

    Downloading "dxwebsetup" - gives me An internal error occurred.

    Downloading the full directX file "directx_Jun2010_redist" - gives me An internal error occurred.

    Running the "DXSETUP.exe" bundled in the game download - same error

    Restarting computer

    Restaring in clean boot and trying to run directX

    Running a "sfc /scannow" which gives me no error

    Can anyone help me out here?

    Windows 10 has DirectX 12 built-in to the system. This issue can occur if there are any compatibility issues with the
    program on Windows 10.

    1. May I know the version of Windows that is installed on your system?
    2. Which game that you are trying to install?
    3. Are you facing this issues with other games that are installed on the computer?

    DirectX setup - An internal system error occurred. How to fix?

    internal error occured while installing directX

    I tried to install a game called warframe. The data was downloaded properly and needed directX to be installed which it did automatically. The setup unfortunately failed as directX couldn't be installed and the game is now unplayable as long as i don't install
    directX. I tried installing DirectX through web installers and through offline installer but both gave the errors as follows:

    An internal system error occurred.

    Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem.

    I've tried different versions of directx but all give the same error.

    What can i do now?
