Discus and support DirectX Setup: An internal system error occurred in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Hi, I know this post has been made multiple times on this forum, but I'd like to put in my own error logs when I fail to be able to install DirectX....     DirectX Setup: An internal system error occurred


    Hi, I know this post has been made multiple times on this forum, but I'd like to put in my own error logs when I fail to be able to install DirectX.


    I've already taken many measures such as disabling both firewall and antivirus, setting DirectX values, giving administrator permissions, downloading C++, scanning through sfc /scannow, and many other common solutions but none if them are working.

    I already have DirectX12, but I am trying to update it with files from this executable: Download DirectX End-User Runtimes June 2010 from Official Microsoft Download Center


    Here is the error log I keep getting at the end:

    DirectX Setup: An internal error occurred.

    New computer, trying to install + play some games, when they always refuse to boot due to directX not being set up.

    one of the errors states "The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found". However, attempting to install directX gives the error " An internal error occurred."

    Information:

    dxdiag gives my version as 12.0

    All windows updates installed

    All graphic drivers for both my Radeon Vega GL and my Intel HD Graphics are updated

    Things I have tried:

    Reinstalling the game

    Verifying game integrity

    Downloading "dxwebsetup" - gives me An internal error occurred.

    Downloading the full directX file "directx_Jun2010_redist" - gives me An internal error occurred.

    Running the "DXSETUP.exe" bundled in the game download - same error

    Restarting computer

    Restaring in clean boot and trying to run directX

    Running a "sfc /scannow" which gives me no error

    Can anyone help me out here?

    internal error occured while installing directX

    I tried to install a game called warframe. The data was downloaded properly and needed directX to be installed which it did automatically. The setup unfortunately failed as directX couldn't be installed and the game is now unplayable as long as i don't install
    directX. I tried installing DirectX through web installers and through offline installer but both gave the errors as follows:

    An internal system error occurred.

    Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem.

    I've tried different versions of directx but all give the same error.

    What can i do now?

    Windows 10 has DirectX 12 built-in to the system. This issue can occur if there are any compatibility issues with the
    program on Windows 10.

    1. May I know the version of Windows that is installed on your system?
    2. Which game that you are trying to install?
    3. Are you facing this issues with other games that are installed on the computer?
