DirectX throws errors when gaming with only integrated GPU

I'm using Intel integrated GPU HD Graphics 630 and played a game. I got an error, probably GPU memory related, see screenshot below. There is a long partially in-game-cinematics scene in the game, which I cannot skip and this error happens every time on the exact same time during the cinematics.I can assure you I did not pull the CPU out while playing. There is no driver update happening repeatedly always at the same spot during the game. My system has total 16 GB RAM, half of which is shared with the GPU. I have the minimum allocated GPU RAM to 1 GB in my computers BIOS.This is the task man

    :)

  2. Problems with NVIDIA GEFORCE GPU and DirectX

Well I'm logged into a Microsoft account if that's what you're asking. Prior to the issue the only things I did that could be considered change were installing DirectX 11 and changing which GPU the games would use via NVIDIA Control Panel.

No, it isn't specific to any game. Any game that uses a GPU will not launch.

  3. unable to play some games with directx 12

    Hi,

I will certainly help you with the issue.

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

    • What happens when you try to play the games with the DirectX 12? Do you get any error message/code? If yes, then provide us the complete error message/code.
If you are unable to play games which doesn't support DirectX 12 then, you can manually download the supportable DirectX for the games.

I suggest you to refer to the below article on How to install the latest version of DirectX.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/179113

Some games comes with the supported DirectX application embedded within the game's application, so that you can install it manually from the game.

You can also try to open the games in the compatibility mode.

    • Right-click on the setup file of the game and click on ‘properties’.

    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed.

    • Once this is done, Restart the computer.
Please get back to us with an update. We will be glad to help.

    Thank you.

Dev 6068 errore irreversibile DirectX (Dev 6068 fatal error DirectX)

    Hi LeonardoScicutella,

sorry to hear. This is basically a DirectX related Error which pops up due to the older version of direct x installed on your pc. So try to get the latest Version, but Maybe better to install the previouse driver of your GPU?

Or according to Call of Duty Modern Warfare players, they are experiencing “Dev Error 6068 – DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error” while trying to play the game. To fix this error, make the following changes:

    • Turn off Nvidia overlay through Geforce experience
    • Set game to Windows borderless
    • Set refresh rate and FPS limit to match your monitors
    • Made sure you have latest Windows Update
    • Turn off GPU overclock and reverted back to stock clocks
    • Turn off XBOX Game Bar
    • Turn off RTX
    • Turned off MSI Afterburner and all other overlay apps
    • Set game to HIGH CPU PRIORITY on Task Manager
    • Set particles setting to Lo
If you don’t like reducing the game’s settings then you can potentially resolve this issue by locking Call of Duty Modern Warfare at 30 FPS. Open Nvidia Control panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.

Select the game from the list and set vertical sync to “Adaptive Half Refresh Rate”. Apply the change, start the game and disable Vertical sync in-game and the game will be locked at 30 FPS. This will reduce the CPU and GPU usage resulting in stable performance.

Hope this helps and please keep us informed
