Windows 10: directX12 games crash graphics driver but all other games run fine?

I'm at the end of my rope here, I've replaced every single part in my PC in pursuit of fixing these crashes but they persist. New PSU, CPU, GPU, RAM, Motherboard and nothing. I've ran Memtest86 and found no RAM corruption, I've used DDU to uninstall all drivers and reinstalled, I've reinstalled windows and formatted drives to clear all data. MS event viewer doesn't appear to report any of the times I crash and its ONLY while running a game in DX12, if it runs Dx11 it never crashes. I cant express the frustration I've felt while trying to troubleshoot this I hope to god someone knows my issue

Games run slow unless I force directx12

My pc suddenly has problems running a lot of games, while it's specs are quite high.

It used to be able to run almost any game, but it currently has issues running any game I try.

It has no issues outside of running games, other things work just fine.

The games run at about ~15 fps, while I should be easily able to run them.

I have been able to fix 2 games using steam flags:

• Dead by Daylight by using the -dx12 flag
  
• Rimworld by using the -force-d3d12
  

So both of these flags force the game to run using directx12, but I have no idea why this works. I would force every game to run in directx12 if I could, but I can't find the needed flags for all of them and it's quite tedious so I would prefer a more permanent solution.

dxdiag says the directx version is 12, and every directx or .net repair tool I found says everything looks good.

I have tried to find a way to reinstall directx12, but that doesn't seem possible unless I'm missing something.

Other things I have tried:

• reinstalling drivers using Geforce Experience
  
• reinstalling multiple games
  
• selecting high performance options in nvidia control panel and windows settings
  

 

Unable to play any games on DirectX12

Hello, I tried playing multiple games with DirectX12, but they open in DirectX11 no matter what, I tried using -force-d3d12 but I don't get any errors and it just boots up in DirectX11, but games like Resident Evil Village which does require DirectX12 it runs fine. I also tried installing Graphics Tools and running "dxcpl" to put the game in the directory and force it to run DirectX12 but I still don't get any errors and it boots up in DirectX11.

Can anybody help me please?

Games work fine on battery but crash when plugged in

Hello guys

My laptop is a HP (Win 10, Intel i5-6200U, AMD Radeon R5 M330 2GB Graphics, 8Gb RAM)

Since last week I am facing a weird problem where my games (War Thunder, Civ6, GTA5) work fine on battery power but crash after plugging in the charger. (The laptop doesn't crash just the game becomes unresponsive). If I launch them when plugged
in, they crash after a few seconds. Steps i have already taken

1. Updated display drivers
2. Reinstalled display drivers
3. Changed power plan settings
4. Reinstalled Windows 10
5. Reinstalled the games
6. Unplugged all connected device

This is an extremely irritating issue so any assistance would be appreciated
