Disable account lockout after multiple shutdowns

Hello!I do work that requires me to frequently restart my computer to update system variables. Ever since I updated windows if I restart more than a few times it locks me out. How do I disable this?NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PASSWORD ISSUE. I KNOW MY PASSWORD. THIS A RESTART ISSUE. EDITING THE MAX DENIAL ATTEMPTS WILL NOT HELP.

    :)

Account Lockout Policy is not working

    Hello guys,

I have Windows 10 Enterprise build 10240 on my Dell Tablet (32 bit) and Oracle VM (32 bit). On both system, I tried to setup Account Lockout Policy in Local Security Policy. I have Account Lockout Threshold = 5, Lockout Duration and Reset Lockout Account Counter = 30 min. However, after locking my account or signing off, my account is not locked after 5 and more failed logon attempts. This feature worked correct on my Windows 8.1 system with the same account lockout settings.
Does anyone experienced the same behavior? Any explanation or fix?

    Thank you very much,

The sign in option is disabled due to repeated shutdowns"

    Hey Aliya!

My name is Ravi, and I am an independent advisor. I am happy to help you. Disable account lockout after multiple shutdowns :)

I understand how annoying it can be to wait for 2 hours to sign in.

To fix it, changing the PIN and password.

After that, you can disable account lockout.

1). Type secpol.msc in the search box and press Enter.

2). Go to Security Settings > Account Policies > Account Lockout Policy

3). Double-click on the Account lockout threshold to open the Settings configuration window.

4). To disable account lockout, replace the existing value with 0 and click Apply to save the changes.

5). Click OK and close the window.

Before making any changes, I suggest you create a system restore point.

Feel free to get in touch again if you have any additional questions.

    Cheers,

    Ravi
