Windows 10: Disable alert on RAW images

The "RAW Image Extension" from the Microsoft Store is unusable for viewing my Sony .ARW photos auto-rotates and colors them. I searched the forum and found that this is a common problem with no solution, so I uninstalled the extension and downloaded a different RAW codec pack. I can now view RAW images perfectly in the Photos app. The only thing is this yellow banner pops up on every single photo, even after I click X to close it:"The RAW Image Extension is required to display this file in full resolution."How do I disable this yellow alert WITHOUT re-downloading the broken RAW Image Extens

Emergency Alerts

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

 

Save RAW drive - Don't want data


Open Admin command prompt, then type:

1. diskpart
2. list disk ======> Take note of disk # of the RAW drive
3. select disk # ======> is the number in step 2
4. clean
5. exit

Open Disk Management and initialize it, Create Simple, format.

i cannot open any RAW images on my microsoft 8. It also won't let me convert to Jpeg images.
