  1. Disable all advertising in one step

I have a new HP laptop with Windows 11. In just a few hours, I've seen tons of notifications with ads. The experience is really awfull. Microsoft, HP, and lots ot useless demo software offering sales in my machine. I have not paid for this, and it's a unacceptable to tolerate all this. How can I disable all this at once, in a single step? PS: In any new system you should ask for permission before doing this, or preprare very likely for new fines for abusing of your position.

    :)

  3. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

Disable all advertising in one step

-Resolved eVGA will honor step-up claim.

I just purchased an AGP 6200 from a local retailer. On the front of the box is the "90-Day Step-Up", and on the side panel it also says "90 Day Step-up", then under that on the side it says "For Complete Details on the Step-Up program pleast visit www.evga.com/stepup".

However, when I register the card, right away it says "Not eligible for Step-Up." WTF? Why does the box have "90-Day Step-Up" on it if the card isn't eligible? When I go to the step-up details, it says only cards with a lifetime warranty are eligible, which the 6200 obviously doesn't have. But isn't that totally deceptive to advertise the 90-Day Step-up on the box for a card that isn't eligible for the Step-Up program? Sounds like false advertising to me...

Edit: An eVGA rep responded to my thread on their forums, anyone that gets a card in an old box that still has the 90-Day Step-Up advertised on them can contact eVGA directly to process the step-up.
