    I want to be able to disable it as it uses a lot of cpu and in turn the fan goes bananas. Mind you it's a new laptop and does this every time, hate how I don't have control over it

    Is there any way to disable Antimalware Service Executable?

    So I've had this issue for a while and tried to fix it but with no success. Antimalware Service Executable is using a lot of my cpu and disk and I just want to know if there's a way to disable it completely

    I was having the same issue like for weeks on my HP Probook Ci5 12GB, the Antimalware Service Executable process was eating up massive CPU, DISK and RAM. After all the hard time I got searching the solution I finally landed on

    Too often the PC (an I7 one, 8 GB EliteBook HP) is stuck and even the response of a keyboard entry is very slow!!

    Any suggestions?
