Windows 10: Disable automatic restarts on Windows 11

Hi,Since I upgraded to Windows 11, my laptop restarts unexpectedly, even if I have work in progress, to install pending updates. I cannot leave it in Hibernation mode at night while plugged in because it will automatically close all my work, sometimes losing documents, to force a restart.I have tried to disable the automatic restarts through EVERY alternative available online, but Windows keeps restarting whenever it wants, and it's actively making me lose work and time. PLEASE HELP ME DISABLE IT. I can't fathom how Microsoft thought this could EVER be a good idea.Thank you.

Disable automatics updates

You can try to disable automatic updates starting from the point that automatic updates behave like any service. Follow these steps:

* Press the Windows + R key, type services.msc in the execution bar and press the Enter key.

* In the list of processes locate the Windows Update and open it by clicking on it.

* To disable it, in the General tab, look for the field "Type of start" and change it to "Disabled".

* Restart the PC and the automatic updates will have gone down in history.

If at any time you want to activate them again, simply follow these steps again and change the startup type to "Automatic".

the following steps:

Step 1: Disabling the automatic restart option to view error messages.

Many hardware driver or operating system errors will cause the computer to display a specific error message before stopping the operation or shutting down the computer. However, if the Automatically restart option
is enabled, an error message might not be displayed despite an error taking place. Disable this option to allow the computer to display the error message.
Follow these steps to disable the Automatically restart option:

  In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.

  Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section.
  
• Remove the check mark next to Automatically restart under System Failure, then click OK.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Checking for failed hardware.
