Windows 10: Disable beep sound in BIOS Menu

How can I disable the beep sound when I press F2 to open BIOS Menu while booting? I found an article about it but I'm not sure if it will work.

Disable Xonar Sound Card Bios Beep Redirect ?

Hello

When Xonar D1 sound card loads up, the bios beeps get redirected to the speakers and the bios speaker is disabled.

This has been the case since I got it, and it's not a big issue, but sometimes I feel it's kind of making the bios speaker useless, this is definitely a great feature if there's no speaker, but since I have a number of them in my spare parts, this is not necessary.

This is definitely a driver feature because the POST beep is coming from the bios speaker normally.

 

Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Disable the PC Speakers and check if it helps.

• Right click on Sound Icon in the task bar and go to Playback devices.
  
• Select Speaker and click on properties.
  
• Go to Levels tab, and mute (or you can reduce it) PC Speaker and check if it helps.
