Windows 10: Disable Ctrl+N on file explorer

Hi,How do I disable Ctrl+N on Windows file explorer. This is for a kiosk user should not be able to browse through File explorer.RegardsNaveen.

Regarding to your information I assume that you want to disable the shortcuts Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+N.

It seems that no setting in Windows to disable these three shortcuts in file explorer.

If you want to disable them it may need some third-party software.

You can also try to use Powertoys to change the shortcut to have the similar situation

You can download this software from Microsoft Store or refer to this link to download it.

Install PowerToys | Microsoft Learn

Then follow this document and change the shortcuts.

Windows 10 File Explorer shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+'n'

I posted a question about this 3 years ago and I wondered if anyone has found a solution?

As a reminder, File Explorer should allow you to quickly switch views using Ctrl+Shift+'n', e.g.

Ctrl+Shift+1 Change View to Extra Large Icons

Ctrl+Shift+2 Change View to Large Icons

Ctrl+Shift+3 Change View to Medium Icons

Ctrl+Shift+4 Change View to Small Icons

Ctrl+Shift+5 Change View to List View

Ctrl+Shift+6 Change View to Details View

Following a Windows 10 upgrade 3 years I changed my Word spellchecker to default to English (UK) from English (US) and the Change View stopped functioning. I proved it was this that caused the problem by switching it back and forth a few times resulting in it working then non-working.

I'm not looking for a long-winded fix for something so minor, such as suggested by someone on my original post, but has anyone had the same issue and managed to resolve it?
