  3. Windows 10 Blue Screen of Death after Installing Update KB4090913

I got similar issue, kb 4090913 said to fix display seams to cause display issue. similar to kb4074588 but affecting display. doing nvlmddmkm graphic card driver filled to start and dmw.exe dwmcore.dll faulting module in event viewer doing system reboot.

dwm.exe - This process, which was introduced in Windows Vista, is related to the Desktop Window Manager. When enabled, Desktop Window Manager is responsible for visual effects on the desktop,
high resolutions, Aero Glass, 3D window effects and animations, Windows Flip and Windows Flip3D. The process could be disabled through Control Panel, Administrative Tools, under Services, as Desktop Window Manager Session Manager

dwm.exe is the Desktop Window Manager and is responsible for the graphical effects in Microsoft Windows Vista operating system such as 3D effects, live windows previews and windows transparencies.

The Aero interface in Windows Vista can be quite taxing on system performace in certain computers and you can switch it off or reduce the screen resolution to increase performance.

dwm.exe is a system process that is needed for your PC to work properly. It should not be removed.

The desktop composition feature, introduced in Windows Vista, fundamentally changed the way applications display pixels on the screen. When desktop composition is enabled, individual windows no longer draw
directly to the screen or primary display device as they did in previous versions of Windows. Instead, their drawing is redirected to off-screen surfaces in video memory, which are then rendered into a desktop image and presented on the display.

Desktop composition is performed by the Desktop Window Manager (DWM). Through desktop composition, DWM enables visual effects on the desktop as well as various features such as glass window frames, 3-D
window transition animations, Windows Flip and Windows Flip3D, and high resolution support.

The Desktop Window Manager runs as a Windows service. It can be enabled and disabled through the Administrative Tools Control Panel item, under Services, as Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.

Many of the DWM features can be controlled or accessed by an application through the DWM APIs.

Disable Desktop Window Manager (dwm.exe) permanently

You do not want to disable it. I highly doubt that DWM.exe is the culprit. The fact that Windows 10 is still in trials until final release out into the wild after 7/29. You will have issues until third party software manufacturers get on board with making their software compatible with Windows 10.
