Windows 10: Disable Ethernet adapter power management while allowing device to wake computer

Windows 11 greys out the "Allow device to wake computer" option when the "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power option is checked." I'm looking to keep the ethernet controller powered at all times and allow wake on LAN after extended shut down periods. The registry edits I've tried don't seem to meet this condition. Looking for some guidance. I'm not well versed in hexadecimal changes so input would be welcomed. I suggest you to follow the below step and check if it helps

• Go to device manager.
• Click on network adapters.
• Right on the network adapters.
• Click on power management.
• Uncheck the option Allow this device to wake this computer.

One such thread suggested an old ethernet drive could give rise to the tab missing.

Power Management settings from the Device Manager
and check if it helps.

  Right-click the device listed and click on

• Navigate to Power Management tab and uncheck the option
  Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
