Windows 10: Disable "group by" in Windows permanently.

I need to disable the "Group by X" option in Windows across the entire File Explorer. It WAS disabled, but a recent Windows update just reset all the customization I've done to every individual folder.Perks if I can break this feature entirely via the registry or something, because I intend to go to my grave having never used this "feature" once. I hate it, and I hate having it forced on me. How can I disable it system-wide?

Permanently disable Group by view everywhere in Windows 11 Home

I tried all the suggested approaches I found, but the extremely annoying Group-by view returns, specially in Download folder and save as window.

How can I permanently disable this everywhere, once and forever?

Windows Explorer - How to disable Group By, or set to None, on all folders permanently

I am having trouble with the Group By feature in Windows Explorer.

I desire to not have the Group By option selected.

I have followed instructions to change this in the folder options, but the Group By options keeps turning back on at a later time.

Last post I read had links to 3rd party software which suggests will do this, which I would prefer not to use, and would think there would be a way to achieve disabling Group By without installing a 3rd party program.

Seeking assistance and/or information on how to completely turn off (disable) the Group By feature permanently across all folders.
