Windows 10: Disable/Remove SkyDrive

But that does not remove it from the shell. How can I remove it completely?

How do I disable syncing options?

I agreed 100% to that. I don't want to see the SkyDrive folders in my Photos Albums. I just need my own albums there. I will never sync anything to SkyDrive from the phone.



I don't want to remove my folders from SkyDrive of course these are important to be there but we need to have an option for the phone to tell if we wish to sync the SkyDrive folders and which one if any.

I logged into SkyDrive to remove the pictures that were stored on my windows phone but SkyDrive shows nothing now what can be done to remove the SkyDrive pics from my phone? This is so frustrating!

 

Disabling it through gpedit.msc worked for me.

Go to:

Code: Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components[/quote] It should be there, set: "Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage" to Enable.

Exit and run "gpupdate /force"

 

Does "gpupdate /force" even need to be ran? It vanished instantly.

Unfortunately no mate.

I do most of my work through gpedit.msc, I rarely work with .regs or .bats anymore.

 

Does that remove it in addition to stopping the service/program from running too?
