Windows 10: Disable Show Desktop

Hi is there a way to disable just the show desktop gesture? I always accidentally do it when I'm scrolling down on a web page.

1. Right click Desktop screen.

2. Then click on View.

3. Choose Show desktop icons.

Desktop not showing up as icon on start menu in Windows 10

From the above description it looks like you have enabled the tablet mode.

I suggest you to disable the tablet mode and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + I.
  
• 
  Select System and Go to Tablet Mode.

If the problem symptom returns [Desktop showing the correct contents when looked at in File explorer but not when looking at the Desktop itself], right-click on an empty area of the Desktop and select Refresh.

Many people have found that their Desktop's are not refreshing automatically and are forced to take this step. I searched & searched for a permanent solution but every suggestion I found either had no effect or had only a limited-duration effect.
