Windows 10: Disable Start Menu Hover

Discus and support Disable Start Menu Hover in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Hey there! When I'm in the main desktop and I hover over the start button for 2 seconds, the start menu appears. Is there any way to disable that?...     Disable Start Menu Hover


    Hey there!
    When I'm in the main desktop and I hover over the start button for 2 seconds, the start menu appears.
    Is there any way to disable that? It's REALLY annoying.

    Windows10 start up / context menu crashing issue

    So this has just started happening - if I right click on an image file and then just hover over the open with option on the context menu file explorer crashes.... I had a similar context menu issue in ms word recently when hovering over synonyms option
    windows crashed and restarted... I have also just noticed that the start up menu is not working and the app windows photo viewer seems to have disappeared as far as I can tell.. Tried to disable start up apps but start up tab in task manager wont load - just
    sticks on not responding.. Powershell scan revealed no integrity issues.. Help!?!

    How to disable the mouse hover feature in windows 10?

    I may be mistaken ... but are some of the answers about controlling hover within Windows?

    I think the OP was asking about items / menus opening unintentionally in webpages.

    Can hover in web pages be disabled in Windows - or in the Browser?

    Disable Start Menu Hover

    Try another mouse, wired or wireless, and see if you have the same issue.

    Try another USB port, if you have more than one.

    This is definitely not the default behaviour, and I doubt Microsoft implemented this as a feature in Windows 10. Do you have any 3rd-party software Installed that could interfere with the Start Menu?

    Yes Classic Shell has the multiple start menu options. Check the show all settings box and use the Control tab.
