Windows 10: Disable tablet optimized taskbar

I just upgraded from an older Lenovo Yoga 7i laptop on Windows 10 to their latest model on windows 11. Every time I flip the new laptop over, the "touchpad disabled" popup appears, and the magnification of apps and the taskbar increases. The larger sizes overcrowd the screen, and since I very frequently flip between modes, the constant change of magnification is incredibly disorienting and borders on unusable. In windows 10, I was able to disable this feature, but no matter where I look, I cannot seem to find a similar toggle in windows 11. How can I disable this feature?

• Right click on the on the empty area on the Desktop.
• Select Graphics options > Balloon Notification >
  Optimal Resolution Notification > Disable.

Taskbar blank in tablet mode

Hi,

This issue might be because of the settings on your device, follow the steps below and check the settings:

• Open Settings.
  
• Click System.
  
• On the left side pane, locate and click Tablet Mode.
  
• Turn Off Hide app icon on the taskbar in tablet mode and
• Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode. (See screenshot below for reference)

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
