Windows 10: Disable the media pop up banner on Windows 10?

I have seen this question asked many times, and every time the Microsoft helper just says it's Chrome. It is not Chrome. I already have disabled the Chrome banner.

I am still getting the banner pop up for discord and other programs that play audio/video.

I like the small part of the pop up with the volume slider on it, but I do not want the huge part that blocks all of my screen!

I just upgraded this week to windows 10 from 8.1, and in 8.1 I had the volume slider thing but I never had the huge thing that says what the sound is from. I just want it to go away.

Disabling the volume control banner on PC

I understand that you want to remove the volume control banner on your PC.



This issue started after the latest version of Chrome was released. However, we can disable the banner by changing some settings in Chrome browser. Kindly follow the steps below to fix the issue.

1. Open Google Chrome.
   
2. Now type in the following command on the address bar:
   
   chrome://flags/#hardware-media-key-handling
   
3. Under Hardware Media Key Handling select the drop down to
   Disabled
   
4. Restart Chrome

Print Banner

Please help us with the below information to help you better.

• What is the make and model of your printer?
• Is the computer is connected to any domain network?
• Is the printer is connected locally with the system or shared printer through network?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Open Devices and Printers.
• Right-click the printer you want to manage, and then click Printer properties. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
• Disable banner sheet - in Printing Defaults (Advanced tab in printer properties).
• Also uncheck "Enable advanced printing features".
