Windows 10: disable the option "Connect" under "Settings -> Accounts -> Access work or school"

Hi, I want to disable the option "Connect" under "Settings -> Accounts -> Access work or school". all client machines are domain joined I can't seem to find any way to disable this option through GPO or registry. I already have the following GPO settings active to deny Microsoft Accounts: Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts but didn't help

Access work or school & Email accounts

What is the difference in connecting a work or school account under "access work or school" tab in settings vs adding a work or school account under "Email & Accounts">"Accounts used by other apps" tabs in settings.

They seem similar, but do they have different end points or reason you would use one over the other?

Are those accounts used for software installation or use?

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

On one of the two sections listed below, you should have the option to disconnect form those accounts:

Emails and Accounts

or

Access Work or School

 

Logging into school account changed my settings/policies on home PC.

Are you sure you have removed that school account

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Emails and Accounts, is there is a school Email listed there

Select Access Work or School, is there is a school Email listed there
