Windows 10: Disable the popup showing the link when I mouse over the link

I am using Outlook as my mail application. When I mouse over a link within the email that is being viewed a small window pops up displaying the link. If the link is very long the window is large and covers up the text of the message I am trying to read. If I move the mouse the link window will continue to display for about a second. How to disable it?

Can't Highlight words or links.

Please reply:

  Are you not able to highlight the text or link by dragging the left click of the mouse?
  
• 
  Do you get options when you left click on the link or sentence?
  

I suggest you to drag over the sentence or link by holding the left button of the mouse and check if the issue is resolved. Right click on the mouse to show a list of options to do with the highlighted sentence or link.

Edge fullscreen - Mouse Over a link shows link URL on another display*


Had difficulties to find a descriptive title for this.

Screenshot above shows approximately this area of my displays #1 & #3:




Edge is full screen. Any content that other browsers would show in status bar which Edge doesn't have, like URL when I mouse over a link, is shown on display #3 when Edge is full screen on display #1. It is very disturbing.

Happens on both build 15002 and 15007.

Any ideas, how do I stop this?

I suggest you to refer to the following steps and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Ease of Access Center icon.
  
• 
  Select Change Make the mouse easier to use option.
  
• 
  Uncheck the check box for
  Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse under “Make it easier to manage windows” section.
  
• 
  Click OK or Apply.
