    Disable touchscreen HP computer Microsoft 10.


    I can NOT disable my stupid touchscreen. The "disable" tab is greyed out. I went through the "uninstall" process, but it didn't work. I plugged in a USB mouse, and both work but I have been unable to find any way to get the touchscreen to stop working with the mouse plugged in. I have tried every option I have seen. The touchscreen is NOT listed under Human Interface, only the mouse option. I have no Control Panel listed as an option. I have no option to select an ELAN/Device settings tab. On the lowest sensitivity setting any movement over the touchscreen derails whatever I'm trying to do. HELP??

    2. Have you recently made any changes on the device?
    3. What is the model number of the device?

    Enable Touchscreen on Windows 10

    I do not use the Touchscreen for personal reasons, so when I purchased my HP laptop I disabled it when I customized the settings. That was a few years ago.

    I now need the Touchscreen to create an electronic signature, but cannot find it in the Device Manager, which is where all suggestions are pointing me.

    When I open up Human Interface Devices, there are only 4 items listed, and none of them state Touchscreen. Here is what's listed: HID-compliant consumer control device; HID-compliant wireless radio controls; HP Wireless Button Driver; and USB Input Device.

    Is it possible that the Touchscreen enable/disable selection is somewhere else?

    touchscreen no longer works

    I have an HP Pavilion 24-g030xt with touchscreen. In device manager under Human Interface Devices it doesn't list touchscreen monitor. My computer is about 18 months old and the touchscreen works fine until about 2 months ago. Any suggestion?
