Hi,While doing post-mortums of security incidents where malware was installed on a windows pc we found out that in most cases the user was the weakest link no surprises thereAs it turned out, users receive push notifications from a malicous website that tries to impersonate an Anti-Virus program see image, language is DutchThere are many variants to these popups but they all use the same method, by abusing the notification center. To make an effort and prevent the malware from being installed, we've done several security trainings already, but it would be preferable to disable the ability

  2. Notifications from Edge

Are you sure these notifications are coming from Edge (web browser) and not the Mail app? Edge shouldn't send any mail-related notifications by itself, but it could probably do so if you visited an email website (say gmail.com or outlook.com) and that particular
    website wants to send notifications.

To check, go to your Edge settings (under the ••• menu), go to Advanced, and then under "Website Permissions", click the manage button and see if any particular websites have been setup to provide notifications (for example, I only have voice.google.com
listed there, as that's the only website I've given permission to send notifications).

    Notifications in Edge

Oh, see now. I'm afraid I can't help with that. Edge is on the end of its development, as Chromium based new Edge is coming soon.
