Windows 10: Disable win10 encryption

I have a dell Inspiron that went into support assist mode. Message from this assist mode says OS_boot_failure and recommends re install/ restore. When I tried to enable restore, error message says unable to restore because OS is encrypted. How can I disable win10 encryption? Pc is out of warranty.

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

• Does this happen before you encrypt the device?
• Which Windows version currently running on your device?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
