Windows 10: Disable window options on split screen?

Every time I move a window using split screen, I always get options that pop up asking me which window I want to add to the other side. I don't really need this feature because I usually already have the other window set, so it's adding an extra step to my process. Is there any way to disable these options from appearing?

Please reply with the following details to assist you further:

• Where and when do you see the split screen?
  
• Which build version of Windows are you using? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

Assuming that you are using the Snap feature in Windows 10, where the Windows gets arranged side-by-side when dragged to the edge of the screen, you can easily disable the option in Windows Settings.

Please refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on System.
   
3. Click on Multitasking.
   
4. On the right pane, under Snap, toggle the switch to disable Snap feature. The option may vary between Windows 10 1809 and 1903. However, if you disable the option the windows will not snap.

Disabling Split Screen on a Windows Surface

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Right-click on the desktop and then click
  Personalize option to open the Personalization window.
  
• 
  In the left-pane, click on the link labelled
  Ease of Access Center to open the same.
  
• 
  Once Ease of Access Center window is opened, under
  Explore all settings, click on the link labelled
  Make the keyboard easier to use.
  
• 
  Here, under Make it easier to manage windows section, check the option labelled
  Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen. Click Apply button. That’s it!
