Windows 10: Disable Windows 10 automatic restart after updates II

So it's 2023, many times this same question was asked, so many answers by self procalimed windows pros, and guess what nothing works.Windows still restarts after every minor update i have tried all methods that coudl be found and could not aroud. I\m leaving my full development envoronment on 4 monitors with 15 Intellijs, each running local server, it takes 2-3 hours to get that setup up and running. I it's all effort just to find out next morning that windows have restarted your system because some 3000 iq brainless developer or project lead thought it is really good idea to destroy peoples

You can try to disable automatic updates starting from the point that automatic updates behave like any service. Follow these steps:

* Press the Windows + R key, type services.msc in the execution bar and press the Enter key.

* In the list of processes locate the Windows Update and open it by clicking on it.

* To disable it, in the General tab, look for the field "Type of start" and change it to "Disabled".

* Restart the PC and the automatic updates will have gone down in history.

If at any time you want to activate them again, simply follow these steps again and change the startup type to "Automatic".
