    Hi!,When I connect to servers with RDP I get windows hello PIN as default login method. Is there a way to disable windows hello for mstsc or change the default authentication method?Now I have to click more options all day long and use a different account.

  2. mstsc vs rdp

    hi

    I wish to buy a new laptop with windows 10,

    I need to communicate with a remote server, now I am using MSTSC and I was told that there is another option, app called RDP,

    I will appreciate to know if they are the same considering speed system recourses etc. and is there any limitation regarding operating system to work smoothly with them.

    regards

  3. Remote desktop (MSTSC) connection bar default location settings.

    Can we change Remote desktop connection default connection bar settings and set according to our requirement.
    means we have to make it small and required to shift right side of screen by default as and when we access PC using remote desktop (MSTSC).

    Multiple Monitors in RDP ?

    Hi folks

    @ugo21
    @NavyLCDR

    Try this :

    As always Windows documentation (contradiction in terms !!!) always hides good bits

    Save your RDP file, and open it in Notepad. Everyone's RDP file is different but yours may look like this:

    full address:s:x.x.x.x:3389
    prompt for credentials:i:1
    administrative session:i:1
    screen mode id:i:2
    span monitors:i:1
    use multimon:i:1
    selectedmonitors:s:0,1

    To get a list of monitors, run mstsc /l to LIST out all the monitors. You can also use mstsc /multimon as a command line to use multiple monitors.

    So for example :

    Disable Windows Hello for RDP mstsc or change default setting [IMG]

    job done !!!

    Cheers
