Windows 10: Disable windows logout on sleep, "windows hello is preventing some options from being shown"

Discus and support Disable windows logout on sleep, "windows hello is preventing some options from being shown" in Windows Hello & Lockscreen to solve the problem; I wake up my windows laptop 50 times a day or so, and signing in each time is not tenable and most of the time I do not require security for good...     Disable windows logout on sleep, "windows hello is preventing some options from being shown"


    I wake up my windows laptop 50 times a day or so, and signing in each time is not tenable and most of the time I do not require security for good reasons. so setting "require sign-in" in "sign in options" to "never" really is the best option, but when a fingerprint sensor is registered in "manage how you sign in to the device" that option isblocked by "windows hello is preventing some options from being shown" the only way I found to remove that block is to remove the fingerprint sensor from sign-in options and then do the maddening re-register fingerprint routine each and every time I do need to active login, seems like a first world problem but do it 1000 times a month and it drives you nuts!


    How do you stop requiring sign-in after sleep/reboot without deleting your fingerprint ?

    windows hello is preventing some options from being shown

    My windows hello stopped working after just a couple days on my brand new surface laptop. I get the message in red: "windows hello is preventing some options from being shown" when I go to settings to try to set it back up.

    Any suggestions?

    The previous update you installed could be the cause as to why you encounter this issue. Since this thread was already posted for a while now, we want to know if this issue still persists or is it already been resolved?

    As a reference, we suggest that you check this
