Windows 10: Disabled a key... dont remember what I did or how to renable it

About 6 months ago i broke my keyboard to a point where it was continuously pressing the quotation mark/apostrophe key. This rendered me unable to do any typing or use my keyboard at all.

In an ill-advised, alcohol induced fit of rage, I scoured the internet to find a way to disable the key from being pressed entirely.

This seemed like an intelligent decision at the time - if I disable the operating system from receiving the key/use some software to permanently disable the key I would be able to use my keyboard and would just cope without using the key (I could copy and paste it etc.)

Obviously, this was stupid. I have a new keyboard, and I want to UNDISABLE the key. However, I have NO IDEA what I did. In that night I installed a bunch of programs (KeyTweak, Simple Disable Key, Etc.) I now have NONE of these programs installed (to my knowledge) and have manually gone through every application, background process and windows process listed in my task manager in an effort to see if there was still something running in the background that I could disable to get access back to my quotation mark key. This yielded no results, so I assumed I had done something at the registry level (I have no recollection of what I actually did as I had tried so many things in a row in an effort to get that effing key to stop pressing).

Now, I am turning to you for help. Is there any advice you could give or any other areas I could check to REENABLE the key I would like to use?

Not sure if this was the correct place to post this or if someone could point me to a more appropriate subreddit.

If you enabled the reset protection before doing a factory reset, the phone will ask you to provide the Reset recovery key to be able to access it. You can only get the recovery key on the Microsoft account associated on your device. To get the recovery
key, you can follow the steps provided below:

• In a browser, log in to your Microsoft Account associated with your phone then go to Devices.
• Find the device on the page and then click Get recovery

Disabling Synaptic touchpad in Windows 10, and why it won't stay disabled. For a left handed person, it is disruptive.

If you wish to disable your touchpad, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

• Press Windows Key +X.
• Select Device manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on Synaptic touchpad driver and select Disable.
• Click OK to confirm and check with the issue.

Disable thermal management, intel speed step, EIST function, C1E enhanced thermal halt state.
Trying to remember overclocking my 775 board.. XD.. There are quite a few things that need to be disabled on the bios.
