  1. disabled startup items, help?

Well I think I screwed up big time now. For some dumb reason I decided to disable all of the startup items in msconfig thinking maybe that would magically speed things up. Then I restarted my computer and I appear to be screwed. I can't login with my pin or password, I can't get into safe mode or command prompt because it won't take my password. The only thing I can do is a clean install, I have most of my important stuff backed up on external harddrives but I have a couple of game saves I really do not want to lose.

Is there anything at all I can do to get into my account before I do a clean install? I know windows had back doors into XP, Vista, and possibly Windows 7. But I can't seem to find a way around Windows 10's security. I can't even change my account password at this point.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Remove Items in Startup

It's easy to disable items in the Startup tab of the Task Manager, but how do I remove the item from the list altogether?

I would like to remove SWFTP and the Realtek audio manager from the list.

I already searched everywhere in the forum. I have done it in the past, through the registry editor. But when I navigate to the key location, I don't even see those items within the registry.

    disabled startup items, help?

Help identifying items disabled in safe mode

Windows 10 Anniversary with all updates
    HP dv6 laptop i5 12 Gig RAM

I have one third party application that will cause the task bar to freeze for up to 2 minutes when the app is closed. I contacted the vendor who advised me no one else has reported this problem, so I am trying, with their help, to diagnose.

If I start Windows in safe mode with networking, the application functions normally with no freeze.

I have disabled all the startup items in taskmgr but this does not solve the problem, so something is starting that is causing a conflict which is not in the startup items.

    My question:
How can obtain a log or list of the items that are disabled in safe mode, so I can, one-by-one, disable them until I discover which is conflicting with my third party app?

    Thanks
