Windows 10: Disabling application startup BEFORE users login possible?

Hello all, our family has got a number of Windows 10 systems. On all systems we use microsoft account to login.Some days ago my son's rig went out of order, so I allowed access to his microsoft account on my own system. By doing so, I've noticed that system processes have jumped up significantly, even after rebooting my system.Taking a closer look, it seems that applications related to my son's setup ie discord etc are started up before he logs on into his account. That might explain why I have been receiving a warning on my own account when I shutdown or reboot, stating that it will affect

Is it possible to modify the default User Icon on the login screen?

Here is a screenshot of my two user accounts showing two different icons. When I login to either account the icon shows on welcome, login. lock, switch user and any other screen where users appear. Dont know much about png etc so never touched those files. I have found many things changed in Win10 from Win7. All I can say is my user icons are the way I want them and I changed them using the method I suggested. Sorry I cant solve your problem but I'm sure someone on this site will eventually come up with a better answer than me. Regards .

 

Service Startup how to set at system bootup or user login

Typically Windows/Microsoft services can be set to start at boot, not user defined processes, those usually must wait for a user to login, to maintain system integrity . . .

Are you trying to get some service or application to run at Windows Startup, that is not already in the list of Startup processes, if you could be a bit more specific please . . .

 

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?
